Next season Arsenal will be hoping to have on less injury worry, bolstering their push for silverware.

Thomas Rosicky will be expected to play a bigger role next season, it is hoped than recent surgery will have correct problems he has had this season. Rosicky has been told that he should return to training in 8 - 10 weeks time, after having knee ligaments reinforced with two titanium anchors. Vladislav Hospodar who assisted on the operation said,

“Now it is properly fixed to restore all the functions and after the rehabilitation the problems should be gone,”

Let’s hope that we can get a productive season from Thomas, much like we’ve had from players like Adebayor and Clichy. The guardian has some interesting season player and team statistics from opta stats. Ranging from the expected,

I certainly didn’t see that part coming. When Wenger mentioned something similar everyone was rolling over with laughter.

The one stat that caught my eye is the fact that Howard Webb has done us no favors, 3 out of 5 domestic defeats came under the officiating of Mr Webb.

And finally in our favourite summer pastime, a few “developments”.

Newcastle has warned us off Obafemi Martins, very funny guys, like we would even try to sign him.

Adebayor has had to issue a statement of undying love for Arsenal, after being quoted by El Mundo that he would like to sign for Barca.

Yaya would love to join up with Big brother Kolo.

The Ben Arfa deal is being negotiated and should be completed within the next 10 days.

And Arsene is considering a £20 million bid for Mauro Zarate (whoever thought this up would be more convincing if the price was right, Arsene would never bid so much for any player).
