Arsene to Madrid – usual media rubbish
As per usual an interview is given and quotes are taken out of context, even stitched together to make up sentences that were never uttered. Where sentences can’t be fabricated single words make up the plot.
In short Wenger going to Madrid is nothing short of utter bollocks. Given that it was all kicked off by the mail yesterday I am beginning to think it is all propaganda from Usmanov and his cronies.

Wenger casts a lonely figure, contemplating an Arsenal exit.
“Avec Perez, le projet sera forcément intéressant pour tous les entraîneurs…
et bor ou?
et je suis un entraîneur…”“with Perez, the project will for sure be interesting for all the managers…
what about you?
and I am a manager”
That’s it this is such a long way from what is being reported, even more so when you realise that the most important part of his quotes were never reported.
but I am under contract with Arsenal and totally concentrated on my objectives here.”
Apparently that last part was not important. So there you have it Arsene is going absolutely nowhere, Adebayor on the other hand, I’m not so sure. I have been a supporter of Ade and I’m not one who would love to see him go. Having said that I would have no problems if he were to leave.
Obivously it is very difficult to perform to you best without the support of the fans, sadly Ade doesn’t seem to realise that hard work and endeavour can easily bridge that gap.
Seriously Ade, wasn’t Ronaldo booed by his own fans after the world cup? Wasn’t he booed by his fans at the start of this season? Even Gareth Barry whose summer indiscretions were much more serious than yours, has won over Villa fans with hard graft.
The thing is Ade wants to leave, I don’t believe that he thinks he cannot bridge the gap with the fans, he just does not have any inclination to do so. He doesn’t seem to grasp the fact that right now this has nothing to do with him wanting or not wanting to leave in the summer. It’s all about his refusal to make any effort, for the team.
On a much more uplifting note, the youth team won the Under 18 premier academy league yesterday, beating Tottenham 1 nil at shitte Hart Lane yesterday, for all the plaudits we get for the youth set-up this is actually the 1st trophy they’ve won since 2001/2002.
Congratulations to Steve Bould and the boys, I am looking forward to the first leg of the FA Youth cup finals on Friday. Tickets are on general sale £5.00 only.
Until next time, please feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section.
