Arsenal fail to learn lessons, draw 2-2 with Hammers.
A feature of our season has been conceding late goals, 7 from 13 in the last 30minutes, 4 in the last 15 minutes, hopefully we’ll keep scoring more than the opponents, because at the moment it seems we will always concede one.

AZ Alkmaar 1 – 1 Arsenal
We were in control, there were no big chances for AZ but in the last minute they scored. It feels like a defeat.

Arsenal 2 – 0 Olympiacos — Patience pays off for Arsenal
Perhaps determined not to have a repeat of Standard Liege, Arsenal came out with all guns blazing. Unfortunately the gun-sights were not correctly calibrated.

Isn’t that a sign of a good team.
So we were a shadow of our usual standards and letting in two goals so early on looks bad, but the truth is most of us were confident of a comeback. Teams like Standard Liege are just not good enough.

Blame Wenger and his youth experiment.
All things in consideration, this side has actually done well to reach this far. The youth experiment has failed in it’s main purpose, but like any good projects the have been lessons learnt.

Was Middlesborough a rehearsal for next season?
As preparation for games go I’d say that instead of the game being a rehearsal for the next game, it was a rehearsal for next season. The good thing being that Djourou was able to get some minutes under his belt and players like Cesc, and Walcott was able to be taken off quite early in the game.

Proud Wenger and Nervy Fabianski gifts Chelsea semi-final win.
You just don’t leave your 2 most expensive players on the bench just to prove a point. That is wrong. That is a crime against the gooners, Arsene.
