Samir Nasri shennanigans
This is all over the place, with his official website claiming the player has signed, one thing is for certain Nasri can’t wait to join up.
So why the flip flopping? I don’t know but there are a few theories going around. Meanwhile youngguns has some info on the website manager.
I just seems to me that someone is quite eager to make the announcement but the clubs would rather they broke the news.
As I’ve said before I am quite happy to get Samir, but I am not entirely over the moon with our current defensive lineup.
Though wenger quotes indicates that he isn’t looking for a defender, I am holding on to the belief that he is just trying to put people off the scent and he will bring in at least another Sagna.
Just as Toure was abyssmal in Ghana, so to our inspired captain was atrocious at the Euros. I truly hope that Toure and Gallas are simply exhausted and with France going home early the will get some rest and be refreshed for next season.

I reckon that Toure and Gallas will come good next season. Its like when everyone expects the least of you, then you start performing.

As the most experienced pros on the team they let us down on too many occasians.
I hope it was just fatigue, and they will turn it on next season.

I actually thought Toure did quite well overall last season, although you could see Gallas was pretty much gone mentally after the Birmingham incident. They could try to get rid of Senderos though. Won’t bring in much money but could be better spent on more quality.

Thanks for stopping by Kris.
I agree about investing in a central defender.
June 26th, 2008 at 09:45Sadly there seems to be a lack of quality defenders going around this summer.
