Liverpool v Arsenal— the talking is over, it’s time to deliver.

No more talking, no more we can do it, no more we need to do this or that, no more excuses. This is the real deal, put up or shut up.

West Ham 1 – 2 Arsenal

A quick look at some of the things that stood out for me in yesterday’s Fa Cup 3rd round clash with West Ham. We came out on top with two goals in 5 minutes to set up a meeting with Stoke in the 4th round, but we were made to work hard for the victory.

Arsenal 3 Celtic 1, Eduardo becomes the new Ronaldo.

Arsenal was sublime and Celtic could not match the level of football Arsenal displayed in either leg. Sadly last night will be remembered for one thing only — Eduardo’s dive.

Write off Arsenal at your own risk.

A summer can make a big difference. Two recent examples are Flamini and Adebayor, both had their best season for Arsenal come after a season of indifference. I fully expect one or two of Diaby, Denilson, Walcott, et al to have their coming of age this year.

Arsenal frustrated by injury time goal.

I cannot knock the team for yesterday’s result. When the news came that Djourou was injured if anyone had offered us a 2 – 2, I don’t think there are many gooners who wouldn’t take that as a result. We would like better for our club but the fact is the team we put out yesterday could have done much worse.
