This is the person who is behind 80% of all transfer rumours doing the rounds today. Including the latest “Crouch to replace Adebayor” you may have read this morning.

If an agent’s job is to stir shit up, then this guy is the man for you, one of the best shit stirrers around. Besides the fact that he “claims” to represents the most boring “Hleb to leave story” He’s also the man behind Adebayor.

I’ve expressed my confusion as to who really is Hleb’s agent before.

You might have heard “Aquilani is speaking to Arsenal,” Morabito was the agent quoted there, although Aquilani’s agent is infact Franco Zavagli.

He then linked Klaas-Jan Huntelaar with Real Madrid to the dismay of Arnold Oosterveer, Huntelaar’s actual representative.

You would think that in today’s age someone would think twice about deliberately lying to the press, but it’s the opposite. They (press, media) lap up everything that comes out of this guys mouth, and print it as facts.

This is the type of thing that destabilises players and clubs, when one man can command so much power over what is printed it’s worrying. That someone can boldly claim to be representing a player when clearly he is, not represents all that’s wrong with footballers and their agents.

And all that’s wrong with the headlines printed today.

Update: Vincenzo Morabati is not Adebayor’s agent. Stephane Courbis is the agent acting on Adebayor’s behalf.
