In my last post I made some cutting remarks about Adebayor. This seemed to me a tad harsh, maybe we need to cut the big man a little slack.

So, after sitting back for a few days to take in all that has transpired, I’ve come to the following conclusion.

Adebayor has no real intention to leave Arsenal. He (and his agent) is trying to use interest from other clubs to wrangle some extra cash from Arsenal. In doing so he may have alienated many fans, making it impossible for us to believe (it was already difficult to begin with) that I love Arsenal bullshit.

What does the future hold?

Adebayor can have another good season, score 40 goals including the champions league winner, and earn the begrudging respect of the fans along with a hefty pay rise.

Or he could take the fans dissaproval to heart, have a terrible season , while Van Persie and Eduardo team up to lead us to glory.
